SafeSpace LLC ("SafeSpace") is committed to ensuring that the SafeSpace platform at https://www.my-safespace.org is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. SafeSpace relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:

These technologies are relied upon for conformance. The Platform has been tested for compatibility with the following assistive technologies and browsers:

4. Accessibility Features
4.1 Visual Accessibility
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Color is not used as the only visual means of conveying information.
- The Platform maintains a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Focus indicators are visible for all interactive elements when navigating by keyboard.
- Images used for decorative purposes include empty alt attributes so screen readers skip them.
- Images conveying information include descriptive alt text.
4.2 Motor and Keyboard Accessibility
- All functionality is accessible via keyboard without requiring a mouse.
- Keyboard focus order follows a logical, meaningful sequence.
- No content requires a specific timing or time limit without the ability to extend or disable the timer.
- The Platform avoids content that flashes more than three times per second to reduce seizure risk.
4.3 Cognitive Accessibility
- Page titles and headings clearly describe the content and purpose of each section.
- Error messages clearly identify the source of the error and suggest corrections where possible.
- Navigation is consistent across pages.
- Language is plain and written at an accessible reading level.
4.4 Screen Reader Support
- Semantic HTML elements are used throughout the Platform.
- Dynamic content updates are announced to screen readers via ARIA live regions.
- Form inputs have associated labels.
- Buttons and links have descriptive, meaningful text or ARIA labels.
5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, the following known accessibility limitations exist on the Platform. We are actively working to resolve them:
